Unprecedented is a community organization created for inner-city Black male youth in the city of Chicago. Our purpose is to equip young Black men with the necessary tools needed to reach success, uplift their communities, and become leaders while shifting the culture around them. Mission Statement

Meet Co-Founder, Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson is an innovator on a mission to change the narrative of young Black men across the city of Chicago. He is a true believer that changing the narrative means that young Black men will have the opportunity to tell their story from start to finish and overcome every obstacle in their way of achieving more for themselves and their communities.

Influenced by his father, Wilson has always strived to be a servant leader who is passionate about pouring back into his community and ensuring that young black males have the tools needed to succeed in life, which has fueled his endeavors. He is the co-founder of Unprecedented Chicago, a non-profit organization, peer-mentoring group for inner-city Black males in the city of Chicago.

Aside, from running his non-profit organization Wilson is currently a full-time student at Ohio State University pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. When his head is not in the books he’s actively involved on and off campus, serving on the Regional Executive Board for the National Society of Black Engineers and active member of the Ohio State University Bell National Resource Center (BNRC).

After graduating from Ohio State University, he plans on using his background in engineering to positively impact people’s quality of life and continue to empower young Black men.
