Unprecedented Chicago Scholarship Opportunity

In 2020, Unprecedented Chicago was founded as a 501c3 community organization created for inner-city Black male youth in the city of Chicago. Our purpose is to equip young Black men with the necessary tools needed to reach success, uplift their communities, and become leaders while shifting the culture around them. On August 9th, 2020 we awarded 5 young Black men our inaugural Unprecedented Scholarship and since then we've awarded $13.5k and scholarships and mentored 16 young men. I am happy to announce that we are back again preparing to award our annual Unprecedented Scholarship Awards!

Coming Soon: Bridging the Gap Program

"Bridging The Gap," an empowering initiative dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space for young Black men in Chicago. "Bridging the Gap" will provide a platform for young Black men to engage in meaningful conversations, guided by our leadership team and trained professionals in our network who can speak to the nuanced experiences of black manhood.

Through thought-provoking discussions and interactive activities, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of topics, including personal struggles, stereotypes, identity, success, and more. In this space, we aim to bridge the gap between our vibrant youth and wise young adults to challenge societal expectations, impact positive life outcomes, and improve the emotional well-being of these young men.

We equip inner-city black male youth with resources to uplift communities and cultivate strong leadership.

Scholarship Opportunities

We provide scholarships to help young black men in Chicago pursue their dreams of higher education.
